Alice was an employee at Morton Foods for many years, Weaver Spring for some years and Lonestar Chemical for the last years of her working career. She loved going to the casino, even on her sickest days, she put fourth full effort to conquer Winstar. She was game for shopping anywhere, bonus, if they had a scooter! Her favorite color was red and she wanted her yard full of flowers, only for her husband and son to care for! She was very blunt and told people what was on her mind and what she thought they should do, but she always meant well. She was so loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years of marriage, Troy Hathcock; daughter, Mitzi Dorsey; son, Terry Hathock and his wife Angie; son, Tony Hathcock; 8 grandchildren, Bryan and wife Candice; Tony and wife Ashley; Terry and wife Shanna; Jason and wife Allie; Tommy; Stephani and husband Kyle; Cody; Jordan and husband Joshua; 12 great grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Dylan, Addison, Seth, Madelynn, Caleb, Jace, Jaxon, Chloe, Jarrett and Lane; sister, Sandy Vance and her husband Jacky; brother, Jerry Guthrie and his wife Jan and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, David Junior Guthrie; mother, Betty Jo Guthrie; brother, David Wesley Guthrie; son-in-law, Rickey Dorsey; mother-in-law, Tommie LaVesta; father-in-law, John R Hathock.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232 with burial immediately following.
