Age 94, long time resident of Dallas passed away peacefully on Sunday July 30, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Adlean was one of the 11 children born to the parentage of J.D. and Alice Brown on June 20, 1923 in Madisonville, Texas. Adlean confessed Christ at an early age and received her formal education from the Madisonville Public School. She later met and married A.C. Rogers and to this union two daughter where born. Adlean later relocated to Lubbock where she united with Mount Gilead Baptist Church where she later married Albert Troy Nash.

Age 94, long time resident of Dallas passed away peacefully on Sunday July 30, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Adlean was one of the 11 children born to the parentage of J.D. and Alice Brown on June 20, 1923 in Madisonville, Texas. Adlean confessed Christ at an early age and received her formal education from the Madisonville Public School. She later met and married A.C. Rogers and to this union two daughter where born. Adlean later relocated to Lubbock where she united with Mount Gilead Baptist Church where she later married Albert Troy Nash.



Adlean worked at a beautician until it affected her health, she also was a seamstress and later worked as a caregiver in Dallas, Texas until her health began to fail. Adlean had a loving and caring spirit, she loved playing card games, dominoes, and cross word puzzles, she loved fishing and caring for her children. While in Dallas, Adlean united with the C.F. Hawn Freeway Church of Christ where she was a Sunday school teacher. Adlean will be remembered for her generous love and helping other.



Adlean was preceded in death by both parents, J.D. & Alice Brown; her beloved husband, Albert Troy Nash; one daughter, Alice Marie Rogers Nash; one grandson, Keshawn Gavin; five brothers and 2 sisters; and several other relatives.



She leaves to cherished her memories and legacy: two daughters: Ruby Torbert of San Diego, Ca and Wanda Nash of Loganville, Ga; one sister: Jewelldene Johnson of Houston, Tx; two brothers: James Brown of Houston, Tx and E.L. Brown of Madisonville, Tx; twelve grand children; and host of great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives that will greatly miss her.
